ISO 9001:2000 Certification

Dedicated to delivering quality excellence to its worldwide customers, South African Micro-Electronic Systems (Pty) Limited is proud to announce that it achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification from DQS GmbH (Deutsche Gesellschaft zur Zertifizierung von Mangementsystemen).

SAMES' Quality Management System (QMS) obtained ISO 9001 certification initially in July 1993 and has successfully maintained this listing to date.The company obtained certification to the 2000 version of ISO 9001 already in November 2003.

SAMES is the only commercial semiconductor manufacturing facility in Africa. It is an integrated operation undertaking the design, manufacture, testing and sales of integrated circuits and systems.
